Trashing the Dress

We had the privilege of travelling to this lovely couple's wedding over Spring Break.  Not only did we celebrate this new union, but we celebrated our 12th anniversary on St. Patty's Day as well.  When we arrived, the bride said to me, "J, I want to trash my dress 'cuz what else am I going to do with it? It's just going to sit in my closet!"  I was so ecstatic.  Here are a few snaps of that fun afternoon.  We scoped out a location that was just around the corner from our resort that had an old abandoned condo building a few miles of empty beach. Congrats you two...we had so much fun!

Get ready for a long post!  This summer I met up with this lovely family for belly, hospital and newborn photos that I have been photographing since their oldest was about 3.  I love their creativity and willingness to try anything.  Congrats Dan and Mandy on your newest addition!  Thanks for letting me capture some great memories for you.

Look Who's 6 Months! {Abbotsford One Year Photography}

This family holds a special spot in my heart.  Maybe it's because I have two boys and always hoped for a girl...maybe it's because I have photographed them since big brother was in mom's belly...maybe because I just love seeing their personalities shine through.  No matter what the reason, we had a great afternoon on the discovery trail!  Happy 6 months princess!

We ended with all the grandkids...thanks to mom/auntie for being so silly so they all looked the same direction!  Whew!

Precious Princess {Abbotsford Pregnancy Newborn Package}

I love it when families grow and come back to me to capture their milestones.  This family is one of those.  I was so excited to find out at their maternity session that they were having a girl.  Thank you for bringing your newest little princess for me to cuddle and dress up all girlie.  I need those days in my house full of boys!  She truly is precious.
